Managed installations

If you have purchased Filesight with our managed option, our team will take care of the installation of filesight for you. Once your installation is ready, you will receive an invitation link for accessing the platform as an administrator with full permissions.

If you opted for a managed installation, the number of available users and the storage quota will be determined by the type of your subscription.

Cloud Installation

If you are installing Filesight from a supported cloud provider, you will need to follow specific instructions for each provider.

For all cloud providers you will be able to start a server with Filesight installed, but you might optionally configure external services:

  • for sending emails, an SMTP service must be provided
  • for file storage, you can optionally provide an S3 compatible bucket (otherwise the instance disk will be used)
  • Filesight includes optional management of SSL certificates via Letsencrypt. You may use this feature to serve Filesight directly over https, or handle the SSL termination yourself.

If you opted for a cloud installation, there are no limits on the number of accounts and the available storage is only limited by the resources you will assign to the Filesight instance.

AWS Marketplace

Filesight is available on Amazon Web Services as a virtual machine (VM) image.

Once your instance is provisioned you may access the ip of your instance and login into Filesight with the default administrative user.
